Locally & Sustainably sourced, Prime European oak

Our European Prime Oak wood tops are hand made from locally sourced solid European Oak Wood (full staves). Each stave is carefully selected to allow for minimum knots and colour variation to create a pristine and contemporary finish. Our Character Oak table tops contain more knots along the grain of the timber than our Eurpoean Prime Oak tables.

Our Oak table tops are carefully finished to have a beautiful flow of natural grain through the length of the table. We smooth, then finish the surface with three coats of high grade & eco-friendly hard wax oil which make the table incredibly robust and durable.

PLEASE NOTE: Wood is a natural material and as such each table is unique and will have slight variation in wood tone and grain. The images seen here and in our ads are for reference only.

NATURAL

This finish celebrates the natural beauty of the tones found in the prime oak wood. It tends to have a unified light blond colour with minimal tone variation. The grain comes up in a smooth regular pattern.

SMOKED OAK

This finish, as the name suggests, is a dark blackish-brown which creates a more unified tone across the boards. It has a feel of vintage, whilst the matt finish creates a smooth modern appeal.

SEA MIST

This finish is a very delicate white translucent wash which softens the grain and unifies the tone into a warm misty glow that lifts a space, brightening it up.
