ABOUT THE WOOD
This is 100% genuine reclaimed pine scaffold board wood once used in construction. Over the past 10 years of working with this type of wood we have perfected and developed a method of making stunning furniture that is solid and beautifully rustic.
Each piece of furniture made from this salvaged wood uniquely shows signs of wear that come with age, giving it a distinctive rough look which we celebrate in the making process.
We offer a range of finishes, using the best quality mix of natural oils, paints, stains and waxes
Due to the nature of the reclaimed wood and wood in general, and the hand making process, each table is unique. Images are for reference only.
WHITE WASH
ABOUT OUR WHITE WASH FINISH
Our WHITE WASH creates a misty pastel finish, whitening the honey and silver tones of reclaimed wood. It blends the different hues to create a more unified surface which brightens and lifts a room. It has a sandy weathered look and differs with our GREY WASH finish in that it has a warmer hue.
GREY WASH
ABOUT OUR GREY WASH FINISH
Our GREY WASH has a defining silvery blue hue that mixes with the wood colours. It leans into the natural weathered tones of the reclaimed wood, blending and lifting the characteristic marks and scratches. It brings character to a room, complementing many colours and bringing interesting contrast to other surfaces like tiles, polished marble or painted floor boards. It has an industrial look and differs with our WHITE WASH finish in that it has a more character defining tone.
NATURAL FINISH
ABOUT OUR NATURAL FINISH
Our NATURAL option is a clear protective finish that lifts the warm honey tones of reclaimed wood. This option celebrates and gives definition to the unique rustic marks each piece of wood brings.
DARK OAK FINISH
ABOUT OUR DARK OAK FINISH
The DARK OAK stain is a great option when you want to create a truly authentic rustic woody feel in your space. The marks and scratches of the reclaimed boards come up darker and more pronounced. The natural wood tones become unified through a warm reddish brown colour which ages the look of the wood. This option works great with black metal and bring nuance to bright plain spaces. It differs with the ANTIQUE finish in that the brown is more red.
ANTIQUE FINISH
ABOUT OUR ANTIQUE FINISH
As the name suggests our ANTIQUE stain creates a sense of vintage that offers depth and character. Just like with the Dark Oak, this stain is a great option when you want to create a truly authentic vintage woody feel in your space. The marks and scratches of the salvaged wood, become more contrasted as does the wood grain itself. The natural tones become unified through a chocolaty brown colour which ages the look of the wood giving it a smoked appearance. This option works great with black metal and bring nuance to bright plain spaces. It differs with the DARK OAK finish in that the brown has a more dark chocolate tone.
